e) Online Identity: Username and authentication details used for accessing the online recruitment system

f) Technical Information: Information automatically collected when accessing online services (please refer to HMIE’s privacy policy at their official website for more details)

g) Interview Records: Audio and/or video recordings of interviews (including phone or video interviews), interviewer notes, and evaluation comments

h) Public & Background Information: Information obtained from public sources, reference checks, and other relevant recruitment-related data

i) Additional Information (Post-Shortlisting): Government-issued ID, compensation expectations, family information (for benefits administration), passport, visa, work permits, background verification reports (education, employment, criminal checks), and were permitted by law, bank account details

3. Retention

Unless a longer retention period is required by law, we retain Applicant Data where we have an ongoing legitimate business need to do so or if such data is needed to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Applicant Statement. Additionally, we may also retain Applicant Data to consider you for other job opportunities where such retention is permitted by law, unless you do not permit us to retain your Applicant Data for such purposes. We may delete Applicant Data at any time as permitted or required by law. When we have no legal obligation or ongoing legitimate business needs to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it.
